The gloom was heavy, and so were the rucks + sandbags. Heatstroke had the modified IPC Q and brought a stacking grind that traded burpees for sandbag bear hug walks and shuttle runs for ruck + sandbag carries. It only got nastier as the rounds piled up. 5 rounds of pain were a delight after a 2 mile pre ruck.

Highlights / Lowlights:
• Hacksaw tried to wish Alzheimer’s and dementia on the PAX — not sure if it was strategy, fatigue, or just plain evil.
• Gulfstream got tombstoned double heavy style, but survived to tell the tale.
• Scrum did his best Gapper impression, rolling around on the ground getting his stretch on.
• Handy Manny shocked everyone by actually doing all the sit-ups. Respect.
• The soundtrack? The Chronic and Doggystyle back-to-back. Let’s just say they didn’t age gracefully — sexism with a misogynistic lean was alive, well, and apparently award-winning back then. Thus, Word of the Day = Misogyny.
• Boone travel tips were exchanged for Heatstroke’s upcoming weekend getaway, shared over what can only be described as a double-penetrated jelly donut. Don’t ask.
