Moleskin- after last week’s White Lightning festivities, today should have been a breeze, unless of course you take seriously the slogan ‘YOU vs. YOU’ and push yourself to do the reps a little more complete, a little faster, etc. YHC has got to lay off the ice cream before bed as I was sucking wind by about day 10 or 11, let alone when it came to the burpees. But you other heroes pushed through and there was the as-expected, no-quit attitude on full display. Some guys figured out that they could change up the day sequence to get a little faster as they went through the combinations- so be it- and thus the race was on! Kojak was kind enough to lead each sequence but Uncle Floyd, Constitution, and Gold Rush were thrashing through it as well. The rest of us weren’t taking it easy by any means. This is why the group workout is so important. You don’t slack off when you know someone is watching you or encouraging you or expecting you to get it done! So thank you SheepDog, Bearclaw, Hot Topic, Colonel Steve, Speed, and Carpe Diem for helping me fight through my desire to slow down. I dare say we all are better for it.
Peace out homeys!
