6 Men including one FNG showed up at the Railyard today wondering if the Q remembered to lead. No pre-blast can have an ominous undertone, gotta show to know.
Here’s how it went:
Mosey to the soggy field for the warm up
- 10 SSH
- 15 Imp Storm Troopers
- 10 Windmills
- Arm Circles with friendly conversation.
Mosey back to the shelter at the parking lot.
Disclaimer (late but better than never- thanks Red Tape for the nudge.)
The workout:
Using high tech counter app with a killer soundtrack and the tables all set and ready to go. Woah! The Q did remember to prepare after all!

The Moleskin:
- 100% effort by all today. I believe Red Tape was the first to mention 100 seconds is a long time. (He had the merkin station first) It’s you against you, and I don’t believe anyone left themselves disappointed.
- Welcome out Jason Ivers! Great to meet you. Keep posting, it doesn’t get easier but you will get stronger.
- The soundtrack kept everyone guessing: Bestie Boys, AC/DC, Van Halen, Molly Hatchet, Cult, Stone Temple Pilots, Gorillaz and a few others. Bring back the memories!
- No count beatdowns lead to good conversation. Today’s conversation did not disappoint. Music, Sacred Fishing grounds, reel(real) fishing vs fly, expiration assumptions for beanie weenies, deck fire pit fails and more…
Prayers for Kojak and a quick recovery from the Cerberus event. You are a beast that sits the bar to new heights! Total respect from the group.
Prayers for a smooth procedure and good results for Misfire this week. Over 50’s – iykyk.
Be on the lookout for the next fire pit event at Othello’s!
Personal gratitude for this group of men and the support I received over the past 5 months. Closing in on the start date for a new job. Thank you for everything from the networking, job postings, prayers, and encouraging words. I cannot express enough thanks.
Have a blessed weekend
