I have a hobby of firewood and firepits. I believe dragging a firepit out to the front yard and inviting the neighbors over is something everyone needs to do. Building up that community is so crucial to so many parts of our life and thats not just my opinion, thats fact. Sociologists, psychologists and the bible all talk about the importance of loving your neighbor and living within your community.

But firewood is expensive. Therefore that naturally requires free wood which is all over the place and gathering it is the main component of my hobby. Trash piles, empty fields, the end of dirt roads, I’m always on the look out.

Today 3 of the pax finally took some of split wood and I hope they share it and build the warmth with someone they love or someone they aim to get to know better.

WARMUP:
basic mosey, Imp. Storm troopers and penny pickers

THE THANG:
6 wood stations, 5 paper pain stations

2-3 minutes at the wood stations
1. chain saw
2. Splitting with my maul
3. splitting with Brutus maul
4. Kindling
5. chopping with a regular axe (very dull)
6. curl a log in sets of 15 (needed an extra station)

paper stations:
1. 15 star jumps
2. 8 burpees
3. 15 squat press with a log
4. 20 merkins
5. 20 jump squats
6. 15 squat press with a log

throw in a gasser of 10 lines for the heart rate.
