Q: Zin
Date:10/4/2022
16 of Harrisburg’s bravest came to experience the YHC’s first Q. Here’s out how it went.
Quick mosey to the ticket booth for a quick disclaimer and warm up:
SSH x15
Storm Troopers x12
Windmills x10
The Thang
Run straight out from the ticket booth and stop at the stop sign where the workout was explained.
A Solocup-inspired four corners workout:
10 ‘Mericans
Run to the next corner and do 10 squats.
Run to the next corner and do 10 LBC’s.
Run to the next corner and do 10 mountain climbers.
Run a lap (actually a lap and a quarter).
Repeato x2, increasing reps by 10 each time.
Next were hill climbs. Partner up. Partner 1 does a quadraphelia (sp?) up the hill while Partner 2 does an exercise of his choice. Switch off. This went for 10 minutes.
Run half a lap back to the ticket booth.
Another four corners, this one much smaller and more chaotic.
At each corner do 10 ‘Mericans. Run to the next corner and do 10 WW’s. Next corner is 10 Burpees and then 10 RBC’s. Run out to the stop sign and back. Return and do 10 exercises of your choice.

- This was my first Q. I’ll admit I was a little nervous at first but settled down soon after we started.
- I didn’t get a chance to talk to as many of you as I would have liked just because I was so focused on my craft. Hope to be able to relax enough to chat next time I Q.
- Thanks to all who came out. I wasn’t sure what the attendance would be like, but you guys knocked it out of the park. I really appreciate it.
- Thanks to Gamma for a quick reminder about calling exercises and cadence.
- I met a couple of new faces today (Static and CPap). New for me, at least. Thanks for coming out.
- Thanks to Deadhead for bringing me into F3 last year. This is a life-changing group, and I am honored to be a part of it.
Announcements and Prayer Requests
- Continued prayers for Solo’s family in the death of his father in law.
- Still looking for volunteers for Run Cabarrus this weekend. Check in with Hootie (or Wexler?) if interested.
- Quarry Run is November 19. As of this past weekend, there were still spots available.
