It wasn’t really THAT bad
All Harrisburg BackblastsOctober 1st, 2022
Best way to show up for a rainy dreary beat down is commit to Q. So thankful that Mullet and Tumbler didn’t get the memo that the workout had been canceled due to the weather forecast. For all those that thought about showing up but didn’t, I get it- weather sucked and you’ll get the next one and life got in the way, etc. For YHC, couldn’t miss another one as I’ve gotten use to a single beat down per week. Everything else about my lifestyle has remained the same so I can’t skip this outlet for mental health and physical health and guy time, no matter the forecast.
And really, it wasn’t THAT bad…

Truth is I probably would have stayed in bed vs show up had I not signed up to Q the day before. Easy to develop a mindset of just not wanting to do certain things after the shine has faded. But as Yellowcake said one time, sometimes we show up for the medicine and sometimes we show up to BE the medicine. I got my medicine from Mullet and Tumbler showing up so thanks. Physical health is great but the mental is as well, and personally I just need a release, an outlet. The physical workout is good, the coffee chats are better, so now off to start the day. Thanks for letting me talk about what I needed. You can write your own message when you decide to Q.
Peace out homeys!
