All Concord Backblasts

February 17th, 2022 By Fire Chicken

When: 2/16/22

QIC: Mayhem

The PAX: Tombstone, Spud, Neverland, Marlboro, Luther, Skinner, Snake Eyes, Fire Chicken, Look Me Up,  Java, Mayhem

11 Men showed on yet another bone chilling morning, and Snake Eyes made sure to remind everyone of his love of tights. LMU, in true LMU fashion, did not allow a little tardiness to deter him as he was able to track down the PAX before the first SSH. QIC tipped his hand a bit during warm ups and made sure to get everyone’s legs loosened up for the Thang, and in the process, introduced a new name for  kinetic toe taps …Toy Soldiers. Making sure to acknowledge Catfish and his trek to Loserville, ahem, Cincinnati, we moseyed to the hill at 5/3. QIC made sure to get lots of running in for all the Palmetto runners, and those thankful for a break from R Brown. Spud was especially excited for the similar terrain to the path from Columbia to Charleston. Tombstone, looking like a squirrel stuck under an acorn, became overly aggressive with QIC’s choice of exercise with the glute bridge, doing double reps and mumbling something about Charlotte. Shocker! Java did Java things and Javed about. Fun was had by all, calories were burned and got more than 2.5 miles of movement.

Moleskin:

In life we are all going to experience hills and valleys. Who we walk with, and especially our walk with the Father, helps us though the journey. As we get older, our circle becomes smaller. In the end, What will your circle say about you? What will you say about your circle? Get better everyday men, physically, mentally and spiritually. Always strive to serve others, paying special attention to those inside your circle. F3 is a unique and incredible  part of that dynamic. When those eye lids pop open and you get dressed, lace ‘em up and head out the door into the frigid February mornings or humid July saunas, it’s just as much about your brothers waiting on you than it is yourself. It’s always about others. “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these thing will be added to you”……go seek. Thanks for letting me lead
