The Thang:

Rock Pile: 10 Curls, 10 Skull Crushers, 10 Overhead Presses

Carioca to the lower parking lot (switching sides 1/2 way)

10 broad jumps across the lower lot & run to the pull bar

5 pull ups (OR 10 merks), run to the back lot for 10 WWII’s

Run back to rocks & Repeato

Moleskin:

Mighty warm weather for a February beatdown, welcomed by all pax as the goldilocks zone.  Kept it simple today, nothing fancy with some struggling to hear the words coming out of Qs mouth at the pull up bars.  And vs Or, but likely that biological selective hearing we’ve all probably experienced before.  We’ll leave the rest of the biological talk at ASEC.  All smooth sailing afterward logging ~3.2 miles with a beat down that kept all moving.  We hit the high and low places of the AO this morning.

 

I’ve been in my head too much this past week or so.  Wise words were given in Look_me_up’s “well above average” BB.   We all probably experience Highs and Lows.  Mine come in waves as well.  Some days you can be so confident in your role that you call to arms others to be better and step up. Then are the days you’re barely hanging on to get the basics done.

 

This is not a new phenomenon. Moses’ brother Aaron was called the high priest for the new tabernacle just days after building a faux gold calf god and placing the blame on others. Elijah called down fire from Heaven to swallow up the alters (wood and stone) for both a faux god Baal and His own offerings. In the next few days Elijah runs for is life from a girl.

 

Advice from a young hate that’s still trying to figure it out: keep a strong prayer life through both good and bad. Keep a discipline of good practices in your life to help through the struggles and praise through all aspects of life. Daily bible reading plan has certainly helped (and yes there have been 0 days and then reading 4+ days worth to catch up).  The biggest complaint I hear for Christians, we’re hypocrites. Yep, nailed it. Perfection not required, already fulfilled, we just need to willing make moves.  Always be improving, keep showing up, and stay hard.
