YHC noticed on Monday that the Q slot for today was still sitting empty.  It has been a bit since YHC had Q’d a cruise at the Dawghouse, so it was time to revisit the good ole days when YHC had the lead pretty often on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  YHC felt this occasion required a route combination not previously ran (to my knowledge).  After days of intense calculations, map reviews, and prolonged meditation, it became obvious how YHC could tweak on some familiar streets into a repeatable segment that would make Peak 2 Peak take notice.  The end result is “The Grenade” segment repeats, which is a 1 mile out and back that starts on Granada, goes right on Wrangler and up to the top of the hill where you turn around and head back to the start… and repeato.  This crowd pleaser has 83+ feet of climb per mile and is sure to give you your money’s worth.

Yellowcake has the Q on Friday and it looking for pax to all bring a cinder block, so that the Dawghouse inventory can be replenished.  Unfortunately many months back someone tragically trashed the original supply… time to get that fixed.
