May Showers
All Harrisburg BackblastsMay 10th, 2021
9 men posted this morning and were rewarded with a break in the rain. Couldn’t do anything about the wet ground, though…

1. Strong work this morning. Most completed 3 or 4 full rounds, then another 1 or 2 rounds of just the exercises.
2. Rain stopped just in time, but only way to avoid getting soaked during WWIIs or Supermans was to either not do them, or find the last guy’s dry spot on the ground. Although the latter only works well if the last guy is wider than you…
3. Unsettled debate over which was worse, doing Jump Lunges right after the run, or doing the run right after the stairs, but consensus was doing all three in a row really sucked.
4. Good to see SSMinnow out there getting “only” 4 miles before joining us for coffee.
5. With the tables full of “studying” high schoolers at RRC, we were relegated to the council table in front of Venture. Best line of the morning from Wexler: “what’s the point of letting a cop in our group if he won’t run off the teenagers?” So Kojak immediately tased Wexler.
6. Full disclosure, I made up that last part.
7. You can still sign up for the charity 5k on May 22nd, although at this point, you’re not guaranteed a Burn singlet. It’s for a good cause, though, and there’s beer at the end. Harrisburg 5k this weekend as well.
8. More to come, but Wexler is leading the Rail Yard on June 5th and is planning a team challenge and breakfast afterwards to celebrate F3Harrisburg’s 8-year anniversary (June 4th).
9. Tumbler has the Q at The Ridge tomorrow. Be on time.
Cheers!
