5 men entered the gloom, victorious over their fartsacks, to do a little running.  We ran the P route.  Hot Pack added in the haunted daycare to and fro and the timing worked out about perfect to all arrive back safe and sound at the same time.  Mission accomplished.

COT: Tomorrow is Farfegnugen’s inspiring return to the gloom in Harrisburg, show to support.  YHC’s Moss Creek Marathon is Saturday at 0700-1200ish, feel free to run a race or join in for a lap or two for support.  Prayers for MC’s friend Dave, my friend Marchant’s family in the loss of his dad, Steel Cannon as he is having complete facial reconstructive surgery today…ok not quite, but he is having a spot sliced off that the docs are a little concerned about…then he has the Q tomorrow!  Badassery right there.

Moleskin: We arrived back early, so we had some time to talk about bit about mental health in general and some personal feelings about it.  It ran the gamut – anxiety, social isolation, work, kids, counseling, mental illness.  When I was dating my wife, her cousin one day decided to attach a hose to his exhaust pipe and take his life.  It was shocking to be sure.  He always seemed like an upbeat, gregarious guy.  It later emerged by those the very closest to him, that he struggled with mental illness.  We never know what is going on in someone else’s life, let’s keep shining a light on this so that whether the struggles are someone else’s, or our own, nobody is reluctant to reach out for help.  The 3 Fs of F3 are all instrumental in fighting off mental illness, let’s definitely keep our focus on the last two as much as we can as we have a great built in support system with this group.  Be well brothers.
