Bird with some Flair…
All The Dawg House BackblastsOctober 20th, 2020
7 runners and 2 ruckers showed in the cool Tuesday morning gloom to put in some work. Word on the street was that YHC may be leading the Dawgs over to the track this am. It had crossed YHC’s mind, but unfortunately for the pax and path less traveled was choosen. It had been quit some time since YHC could remember adding some Flair to the Bird. Hokie Pokie introduced this fancy Bird option a couple years ago and today it just felt like the right call.
The pax followed a reverse OUTLINE (for Rerun) of the Bird, which included hanging a right at each dead end side street. End result is a solid route with lots of magically created Flair. There was some complaining about sore legs from Monday’s Kettlebell workout (not sure the Dawgs are doing Kettlebells right – anywho), but all the Dawgs pushed thru and put in a strong effort. In the end the runners knocked out 4 to 6 miles along the way.
There were 2 ruckers that walked into the dark and then reappeared from the dark as the runners were heading to home base. As a good friend of mine once said… That’s about all I got to say about that!
Great work men! #ironsharpensiron
