Who’s That In Front

Today 6 Pax showed up for a few miles in the summer heat of the south. The group today did not include any rabbits so today was the day of the Tortoise.
The plan was to run the Robin Hollow route to get the miles and also a little elevation as well. The group moved along hwy 51 and then down Robin Hollow with none other than Silas himself leading the way. It was like Christmas and Rudolph leading Santa’s sleigh or maybe like “Chet” from Santa Claus II. Nonetheless we were cruising right along and the conversation moved to power tools and Tough Skins and Clover were speaking some secret language (Klingon) I think. We did not understand a thing that they were saying as they chatted about such things as “domino cutter” It was like Bob Ross and Mr Rogers having a conversation about a sweater from the 70’s (riveting) or maybe fluffy clouds, i’m not really sure. The conversation changed from topic to topic as the group made their way back to the Teeter to finish up our run. The route covered just over 3.2 miles and had a little elevation to go with it.

Today we had great conversation and fellowship as we made our way through the morning gloom. We didn’t have any rabbits to chase, even though we missed having Othello out with us. We enjoyed the slower pace and having the time to chat and share in fellowship as we made our way. I cannot say enough about this group of men and what a pleasure it is to be involved in F3 and especially our Mint Hill group.
Booyah – Sorry that we missed you at the start but we are glad that we found you along the route.
Othello – Missed you being there today
Clover – Buzz Lightyear would be proud “falling with style”
Prayers – Keep our country and our leaders in your prayers. Please keep my sister Joanna in your prayers as we await answers in the coming days.
