Fresh off a 2-mile APFT “sprint”, 4 Pax wanted to get a few more miles: three opted for running, one opted for rucking. Two more HIM joined in for some rucking miles bringing our total for the day to six. Relatively brief but solid disclaimer given and we were off.

Runners took off down the greenway, two big lasso loops and then a return trip down the greenway. Soprano was clearly still on an adrenaline rush from the run yesterday and could not be stopped. I think he finally figured out that he’s a really good runner. Don’t let us slow you down, go get it. Heatstroke and YHC kept him within sight but left appropriate social distancing space.

YHC really has no idea what the ruckers did. They appeared to have some coupons with him. No doubt that Sugar, Thickburger and Chachi could both put some miles behind them (if desired) while paying plenty of tolls with those coupons.

From what YHC could tell at 0615, all were pleased with the work they had just put in.

Prayers for everyone struggling with this crazy time. It can be hard physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially and probably ways that I can’t even think of right now. Reach out and help someone however you can; we all have ears, many times that’s all you need.

Special prayer to Kilowatt, his father-in-law and their family. Hope they can get through this quickly and without much fanfare.

Rolling Stone Happy Hour tomorrow (Thursday) at Johnny Brusco’s. Outdoor seating and probably very small number of other people there so sounds like generally safe environment.
