Late BB but much drier today!
Four Pax from MECA Boondocks AO worked around the rain this morning for a Big Tuna led beatdown at The Village. This was the 2nd beatdown in row that YHC had signed up to Q and was greeted that morning with heavy rain or threat of rain so different workout options were prepared in advance and then planned to adapt and apply the pain accordingly. Flag was planted, pax arrived and here’s how it went down:
(Note — my sincere apologies for the late BB – however, I will blame it on recent site security updates that resulted in multiple unsuccessful attempts to change my password, validate my account login – but not within the time limit which I continued to try across multiple computers and multiple days – but it is working now)
Mosey next door to the middle school and over to the covered entrance area for:
SSH (x20, IC)
Low Slow Squats (x10, IC)
Windmills (x10, IC)
Hillbillies (x10, IC)
Merkins (x10, IC)
We noticed along the way that it was not very dry in this covered area and quite dirty so this might be a one and done option for cover at the Village. A few positive notes, as we were greeted by two police cars who also seemed to be taking cover in the bus area along with an early arriver at the school who was very nice and turned on the outside lights for us!
Pyramid workout – start with 10 burpees each round and then add next exercise listed as you work thru it: (i.e. 2nd round – burpees and lunges, 3rd round – burpees, lunges, merkins, etc. )
10 – Burpees
20 – Lunges (Single Leg, 10 per Leg)
30 – Merkins
40 – Squats
50 – LBC’s
60 – People’s Chair/Air Press
70 – Freddy Mercury’s
Run a lap after each round
Finisher – 20 dips followed by bear crawl around the access ramp followed by 20 derkins
Ain’t no one got time for that today!
Mosey back to the entrance for closing prayer and coffee! We were greeted after coffee with a sudden deluge – but much better then than a few minutes earlier!
Strong work today – great push to get this finished before time was called!
