Heat wave at the Mill
All Kannon BackblastsNovember 22nd, 2019
7 strong willed men posted on what seemed like a heat wave this morning to see what YHC was going to throw at them.
Mosey away from our always windy corner down main to Ring of Honor for warm-o-Rama:
50 SSH’s IC…why? Cause it’s been too long
15 IST’s IC
15 slow backdraft Saturday nights
Mosey past the Gem and down to the plate pile and head to the “deck”.
The Thang: drop plates and partner up as best as possible. Part 1:Old game of catch me if you can up the deck….one partner does quadrophelia while the other performs 5 merkins and runs to catch him…repeato all the way up all levels of the deck.
Part 2: Same partners…one does AYG plate curls while other partner runs to level 2 and back, switch, and that partner heads to level 3 and back…repeato to level 5…plank once complete. Repeato but instead of curls perform skull crushers….repeato but do squats….repeato but do man makers
Part 3: partner runs up ramps to level 2 and back down via stairs while other does merkins, repeat twice. Mary called and return plates to pile
Mary: 5 leg climbers x 10 IST each leg…15 slow Freddy merks IC
Prayers/Announcements: Brad Hunter and his cancer/cancer treatments….passing of Derrick (step son of our music minister) all pax traveling for holidays. Hillbilly workout next Thursday….address and details to follow on slack
Moleskin: Well…7 isn’t bad considering our MQ didn’t show and Chicken Strip, fresh off his BBOTW, decided to fartsack, Trick & Scout we’re MIA, maybe Big Country recovering from yesterday’s beatdown or hunting and backdraft still banished to Alabama. All broke a sweat due to YHC’s constant movement and heatwave and multiple pax ditching gear along the way. One of the best parts was post workout as sir Topham is slinging Lionel trains, definitely hot, out of the back of his Forerunner…great deals for Christmas, cash only please. 3 went for coffee and 1 came to watch us drink it. Looking forward to hosting hillbilly in our mostly demolished house but will have shelter and food and plenty of hills to run on prior to tabata.
Always an honor,
Fire Chicken
