NOTES FROM THE GLOOM
- For some reason there are an increasing number of people coming to the park at gloom time to walk their dogs. Really?
- The Human Form is made for walking, among other things. Walking is good for us. Humans should do it more often instead of only between the chair and the toilet. Maybe that’s closer to running.
- Packman was in great form this morning. YHC stayed with him as long as possible on the ladder, till about the 7th line where he started pulling ahead.
- Silas gets the job done at each and every line! BEASTMODE
Gotta say, at first YHC wasn’t expecting anyone to show after teh last 2 weeks experience. But this morning 4 dudes rolled in and allowed YHC to pull things out of his toybox. At first, everyone just stared at the tire and was happy to leave it in the bed. Then, during the walk, YHC realized he already had everything the pax needed to pull down old yeller and take him for a walk. That’s what we’ll call him, Old Yeller. Now we need some paint and stencils to tag it. Old Yeller did a good job at being stubborn. He did not want to come back up the hill that is the parking lot we call Meat Grinder. Add in the 25lb dead weight (because we had to protect that nice paint job on Silas’ kettlebell) we threw inside the tire wall, and Old Yeller started making the pax yell back. Twisted Devices of Taurus Torture are all the rage these days, right? Anyway, we ended things this morning on a great serving of take-out by our very own TV plumber, Booyah. Remember to do different fellas, not do more. It’s a tough call when pax need to start pruning things out of their lives in order to make room for new growth or even to grow the fruit already apparent. So, do different, not more.
Till next time folks, stay strong and remember to scoop it up when walking the dog.
