Burpees, Bear Crawls and Ball Busting – Welcome to Fall

All Rolling Stone Backblasts

September 24th, 2019 By Sugar

11 total PAX deafeted the fartsack this morning to come together for some Fall-Weather-Fun. Lying in bed last night I was contemplating on where to post so as usual checked the weekly Q schedule posted on slack by our AO Lead Jimmy Buffett. That’s when I realized it was me. So as a dedicated Q I rolled back out of bed and meticulously planned todays Fall- themed beatdown (only took me 45 min.) as I like to be thorough.

Enough with the BS! 0530 rolls around, headcount, disclaimer and we’re off to see what this Fall Beatdown looks like. Mosey to the ball courts for:

Warmara –
SSHs, Merkins, Cotton pickers, Mountain climbers, Windmills.

The Thang

Mosey to the extremely well-lit swingset wall and partner up for some MCP, ‘Last Call’ figure 8 style fun. (more like figure 0)

P1 does exercise while P2 runs wround swing sets with a 1 Burpee audible on the back side, switch. 3 rounds of:
Peoples chair
Donkey kicks
Balls 2 the wall

Indian Run with 1 burpee special in back to the Greenway entrance.

P1 – Exhibitionist Monkey Humpers on sidewalk while P2 runs Boomerang loop sidewalk and switch. 3 rounds

Indian run to bridge for some ‘Ball-Busting’ ladder work.
10 to 1 ladder – Merkins and Muscle-ups on bridge railing. (YHC was kicking butt and actually keeping up with “Broken Foot” Soprano until being a bit too agressive on a muscle up and squashed a testicle on the bridge railing. Tough way to expand your vocal range)

Mosey to end of bridge for the next batch of madness:
P1 Bearcrawl, P2 3 burps and run up to relieve P1. I must confess the ‘plan’ was to just go to the end of the bridge put somehow several PAX suddenly got REALLY fast at Bear Crawls so to the Greenway entrance it is.

After a short Quiz on the F3 Mission and montra mosey back to Bridge to knock out some penalty 8-count body-builders for not picking up the 6. (11 for total number of PAX we had in attendance)

Mosey to Mary

Several minutes of Homer to Marge to Bart to Lisa to Maggie. (YHC’s O2 diffiency)

Moleskin

Thanks for playing along this morning, great group of PAX and it was fun! Confession – not much of this was planned. I figure even when I plan I still end up winging some of it and frankly I’d rather not know what’s coming even when I’m Q. Leading a beatdown planned or not is one of many things I couldn’t do a bit over 5 years ago. Hell, NO WAY I could have Lead this mess and have gotten through it or most other workouts I’ve been to since my time in F3. Sure I’ve improved since then but point is I didn’t do it alone and it wouldn’t have happened if I did. It’s because of Men like each and every one of you that has gotten me where I am and continue to make me want improve. Never under-estimate the impact you have on others just by posting whether you are bat-flipping, modifying or hanging back on an off day. Likewise, never underestimate the impact other PAX have on you just by posting. Bottom line, none of this happens if you dont post. Late night, cold morning, feeling a bit sick, slight injury, etc., dont miss the chance to be motivated or to motivate. Just show up and do what you can. Let the beatdown take care of everything else.
