7 of Highlands’ finest gathered for an early morning cruise.  The pax was frisky, eager to know the route.  Nay – not until the last of the pax (Pavarotti) donned required reflective gear.  Once all were gathered, the sharing of the route commenced.

The Route:

• HCES to Street St, hang a right on Ridge
• Ridge to fire house, cross the street through the neighborhood and the Climb To 485
• Cross 485, hang a right on Johnston Oehler
• Right at the first set of traffic circles and cross back over 485
• Right on Ridge
• Left back into HC via HC Parkway
• If still feeling frisky, a full loop of Skyline Dr
• Return back to HCES, some by way of rabbit hole, some by way of Shelley Ave and bus lot

Moleskin:

• Great work by all this morning.
• The group is definitely getting faster.
• That Johnston Oehler is a deceptively longer uphill grade than expected and of course Skyline Dr is always fun.
• @Barrister has found a new gear lately and was out front leading the entire way.  It seems legit too, unlike his recent rep counting.
• Glad to have commitment by @Retread and @Focker for the Charlotte half marathon.
• @Dutch Boy – always a pleasure and thanks for the push.
• @Pavarotti – how’s the hammy?
