19 men of MECA showed up in the semi-gloom for what was promised to be some “Golf Course Fun”.  Some of the PAX thought this might be another version of the putting green beatdown that was introduced last year but YHC had other “fun” in mind.  Unbeknownst to YHC there had been a discussion Tuesday morning about some of the areas of the AO that were not being used, one of them being the Highland Creek golf course driving range hill.  After the disclaimer the PAX mosey’d over to the golf course parking lot for –

WARMARAMA

• SSH x15
• IST’s x10
• Hill Billies x10
• Cotton Picker x10
• Plank Jack x15
• Merkins x10
• Windmill x15
• Low Slow squat x10

THE THANG

After a mosey down the cart path to the base of the driving range hill the PAX were requested to pair up with size not being a factor.  With their partner they completed the following sequence of exercises:

• Partner 1 Squats while Partner 2 runs up the hill and does 5 burpees. Repeat 3X.
• Partner 1 Lunges while Partner 2 bear crawls up the hill, does 15 CDD’s and runs back down. Repeat 3X.
• Partner 1 Al Gores while Partner 2 runs up the hill and does 10 jump squats. Repeat 3X.
• Partner 1 Apollo Ohno’s while partner 2 crab walks up the hill, does 15 Merkins and runs back down. Repeat 3X.
• And for the last cycle… mosey back to the golf course parking lot and wait for the 6 doing squats (at least the Q was doing squats)

Mosey back to the start for:

• 15 Low Flutters
• 15 Mason Twists
• Optional – Complete the ABS Challenge for the day (Pony Boy, Disaster, Barrister, Brinkley)
  • 90 second plank
  • 90 second boat
  • 30 Low Flutters (already completed 15)
  • 30 Mason Twists (already completed 15)

BOM & COT

MOLESKIN:

• Nice effort on the driving range hill gentlemen.  Humidity was a factor and sweat was flying everywhere.
• TAP’s for Ranger who had surgery.  @Sandman gave us an update and the prognosis is good.
• Time Laps(e) next May.  Teams are forming.
• Inspiration for today’s beatdown comes from the psychic connection we have as F3 Brothers.  Was in a motel in Circleville, OH thinking the driving range would be a good change of pace while the PAX was having the same discussion at Tuesday’s beatdown.
• As we come in contact with others during the course of our lives always strive to be a positive influence and seek out those who we can help.
