Great Numbers for a Great Cruise
All BackBlasts BackblastsJune 19th, 2019
YHC decided to throw the PAX off and actually participate in a cruise rather than ruck with his fellow ruckers. Unfortunately, none of the other ruckers got the message and left The Nanny high and dry. I am sure he ended up putting in 20 or so miles this morning, the man is a machine.
9 PAX assembled around YHC for a very thorough disclaimer, when Gordo came rolling in at the strike of 5:31. Once he exited the car, we were off to explore the front nine of the golf course. Q-drenaline must have kicked in, as YHC tried to keep up with Snape through hole 5. In our discussions, I learned he is an avid runner (readily apparent once you run with him) and regularly finishes 5Ks in 24 minutes (also readily apparent when you run with him). He kicked my butt and kept me honest this morning.
Now, you may be thinking to yourself…9 PAX plus Gordo is 10, but there are 11 names present in the backblast. Well, Retread arrived late (5:33) and didn’t get the memo on slack that we were running the golf course, so he decided to run to Eastfield and back and totally crushed it. He was already doing Mary when we arrived. Well done Retread.
FNG Ovi made it to his second post and was appropriately named Flyer. He is both from Dayton, Ohio, home to the Wright brothers and can totally fly running.
Tootsie crushed it on his first cruise, and Buffalo Bill decided running wasn’t enough for him so he added a 12 pound bra/bro (not sure what to call it). Gordo crushed it post his Disney cruise adventure, and the regulars enjoyed the scenery.
As always guys, it is a pleasure to lead you men. Be safe and allow God to be a light unto your path and lead you through your day and your lives.

Great lead and great route @barrister. Glad to see cruise attendance slowly rising.
