Running on the Dance Floor
All East Charlotte BackblastsMay 28th, 2019
This morning 4 of 6 intrepid runners stepped out onto the dance floor at Brighton Park for their 4th of 12 weeks on the Podrunner 1st day to 5K program. This program is intended for new runners or those returning to distance runs after a hiatus. The Mint Hill Run club is using it help some new guys run their first 5K. Each week uses a ready mix of electronic beat driven music set to intervals to weekly increase the duration and speed of a new runner’s pace. By the end of the program new runners will be ready to run a 5K distance non-stop.
