8 gathered on a wonderfully cool spring morning to face the unknown that awaited them in the gloom…Mosey to iron plate pile and then all gather behind the depot for warm-o-rama which went like this…

25 SSH’s IC, 15 Hillbillies IC, 15 Mtn Climbers IC, 15 Cotton pickers IC, and forward/reverse arm circles 10 IC each.

The Thang: partner up for deconstructed burpees workout

Round 1, non-timer did plate curls while timer ran to end of depot and performed 30 merkins…switch

Round 2, plate curls like round 1 except timer performs 20 merkins/stump jumpers (half burpee)…switch

Round 3, plate curls again except timer does 10 burpees…switch

Rinsed and repeated except began with round 3 and worked our way back to round 1 and non-timers performed plate overhead tricep presses

extra credit…as a group we ran half of the depot and performed 5 burpees…some mumbling occurred when YHC called for this….return plates and head to the deck for Mary.

Announcements/prayers:  GOMR meeting tonight at 6pm at the Vive clubhouse. Prayers for one of gunny’s daughters friends that has melanoma.  Kilowatt’s son diagnosed with juvenile diabetes

Moleskin…how could anyone have missed a 46 degree morning in May…??  Apparently trick fartsacked us, Chicken strip either fartsacked too or went to afton, the Burgh was wiped out from finally getting me his Backblast and slept in as well, Squid can’t come unless Sir Topham does and Tiny can’t come unless Rawhide comes, WTH??….you guys missed a great day to work on your beach muscles with tons on reps for bi’s and tri’s along with the pecs from all the merkins and burpees with a side of abs thrown in during mary…you all missed grandmaster’s modification on doing his best impersonation of Al Gore and playing with a tree the whole time while we were lifting the iron plates, poor Gooney drove all the way from downtown concord to meet The Squid and Tiny as well as see Rawhide only to have them ALL no show…last but not least…need a MAN to step and and LEAD the Saturday beatdown…
