Brinkley’s VQ?

All BackBlasts Backblasts

March 21st, 2019 By Brinkley

The second day of spring started off well with 17 of MECA’s finest out for a Brinkley beatdown.  It had rained the night before but it held off for us.  As the PAX gathered there was discussion that it must be YHC’s VQ since it was the trend this week with @Dutch Boy, @Illuminati and @Tootsie stepping up to the plate. We started with a slow mosey up to the bus parking lot with high knees, butt kicks and side runs both ways before circling up.

THE THANG

After Warmarama the PAX was asked to get into groups of 3-4. Each group was given a tennis ball and instructions were given for the day’s circuit.  One person from each group would start by throwing the tennis ball into the green hopper by the playground.  Based on the number where the ball came out the group would run to the designated location and complete exercises as follows:

The four groups continued this cycle until time was called at 6:10 AM when we mosey’d back to the starting point for Mary.

  1. @Brinkley, this beatdown always provides solid 2nd F among the small-groups. S/o @DropCloth, @#1, and @KleanUp. I enjoyed the rare mid-week appearance when school is in session (Keep those comments to yourself, @DropCloth).

A solid amount of college hoops mumblechatter this morning, as well. @KleanUp, I chose to ignore your comment about the 2nd Round. Let’s see if your Gators (and @Brinkley’s) can get past Nevada first. Then you can @ me.

Speaking of @, it looked like the onslaught of Slack Gump mentioning spilled over to the sidewalk chalk at location 2. Who would do such a thing?

Iron Sharpens Iron. Looking forward to Saturday, @Tootsie.

  2. solid beatdown today @Brinkley; I believe the Pax above is @Shazam?
