Pull-ups necessary at the mill
11 plus 1 very late pax embarked on a 30 degree cooler than the day before morning to see what kind of “impactful” workout the QIC had planned.
Mosey to police station ring for SSH’s x 20 IC, Mtn Climbers x 20 IC, Hillbillies x 15 IC, slow cotton pickers x 15 IC, arm circles. Mosey long way to the backside of village park picking up G-Vegas along the way there.
The Thang…double ladders with pull-ups. Starting at back entrance of village park complete 10 merkins IC & 1 dying cockroach IC…mosey to pull-up bars at jungle gym area for 5 pull-ups…mosey to merry go round for 1 Burpee and 10 core killers…back to pull-up bars for 5 more. Rinse and repeat decreasing on merkins/increasing on dying cockroaches…always stopping for 5 pull-ups both ways and increasing on burpees/decreasing on core killers. Left with approximately 15 minutes left to head back to AO. Time was left so we paired up and ran 3 sprints of approximately 30ish yards. Approximately 4 miles give or take completed.
Mary: low flutters x 15 IC to hello dollies x 15 IC
Prayer requests/announcements: Anvil first Meca wide running lead and is planning a CSAUP Run event that will challenge experienced/inexperienced and Ruckers. Let him know if you’re interested in helping him with ideas. Prayers for Anita Johnson, Survivor’s wife and G-Vegas’ wife.
Moleskin: great group and happy G-Vegas got lucky and found us. QIC was unsure how long it would take to complete this workout but knows what to do next time so more pax can come closer to completing the ladder as QIC only made it halfway…tough workout for sure. Not sure how many of you heard but I’m almost positive that Loafer passed has the WHOLE ENTIRE beatdown, not sure where you ended up eating last night but it got to you! Props to Rooster for sticking with the six during the beatdown and helping push them along. Props to Survivor for pushing hard on sprints and he’s faster than he appears to be. Awesome showing of 14 at QSource led by Grandmaster where we learned that having and being a mentor are important in our lives.
Always an honor,
