Not my favorite
The new master Q had asked previously for someone from the Dawg House to take the lead at #WhiteLightning this morning. Eager to earn some extra credit with the new leader, and in an effort to avoid some of the antics at last week’s cruise, YHC stepped into the driver’s seat. When planning this workout, YHC decided to go with a continuum of exercises that are not my favorite, or areas of opportunity for improvement.
It went something like this:
YHC warns people to grab headlights – did he really intend to use them or was it just a decoy wonders the Pax?
SSH IC x 20
Cotton pickers IC x 15
Hillbillies IC x 10
Mosey to the first light pole, bear crawl to the next one.
Burpee broad jumps to the second light pole.
Crabwalk to number three.
Fortunately, we ran out of light poles.
Mosey to the bottom of the hill with the pull-up bars:
At the bottom, 10 Freddie Mercs each leg, run to the top for alternating overhead and underhand inverted rows x 10, repeat for 4 total sets.
Mosey to the pedestrian bridge:
10:1 ladder, jump squat on one side, hand-release merkins on the other with a quadriphelia on the way back up the hill
Alas, not enough time to run around the whole track as originally planned (that’s where we would have needed the head lamps).
Find some wall on the way back to Mary, balls to the wall with optional hip slaps. Then people’s chair with some air presses IC.
Crunchy frog IC x 15
Low flutter IC x 10
Abs w Habs
Lots of events coming up, check out Slack. Gremlin, CPR, winter gala, spartan race
Thanks for visiting @Bluegrass, always great to see a new face.
YHC was reflecting last night on his upcoming 3 year F3 anniversary. It’s been a wild 3 years for me, and while I know I have so much more to improve on, I couldn’t ask for a better group of men to show me the way.
