The forecast for the Gloom was looking well kind of gloomy but 12 HIM’s weren’t deterred and headed to The Dawghouse. YHC considered heading for cover for this beatdown but I was confident these manly men could handle a lil wetness. The clock hit 0530 so off we went but not to cover like some of the PAX were trying to direct YHC. The fun went like this…………..
SSH x 15
Windmill x 10
IST x 15
The PAX counted off and partnered up. One partner grabbed a block, unless you were partnered up with a Ruckster, and headed to the tennis courts.
Partner 1 would perform the exercise while partner 2 took the block/ruck out of the tennis courts to the curb and did 10 reps of called exercises. The partners would then flip flop and completed the exercises as a team.
Round 1: 50 burpees/10 presses
Round 2: 100 Bobby Hurleys/10 curls
Round 3: 150 Flutter kicks/10 swings
Round 4: 200 Hand release merkins/10 sumo squats
Round 5: 400 WWII’s/10 raises
Low dollys x 20
Count off and Name-a-rama
–Christmas party at the Orphanage on December 16th. Get up with Flipphone or YHC with any questions.
–To our F3 brothers Bullseye, Habs, and Highchair who have lost family members over the past week. These guys are in our prayers for their losses.
–We thought we had some late arrivers as a car rolled into the lot as we were warming up. Rerun went out to greet them but apparently interrupted some kind of rendezvous. The car quickly sped off after he tapped on the window. It’s like Rerun had done that before?????
–YHC knew the PAX could handle a wet beatdown after I heard of a Q that Rerun had done several weeks ago. Heard it was torrential rain and flooding but Rerun kept them outside. It was only a light drizzle this morning so knew all would be good.
–YHC figured there’d be some Triple Nicklers in attendance so some merkins and WWII’s would have to be on the agenda.
–When we got to the WWII’s Uecker was asked for a number of reps but our fearless leader, Pharaoh, piped in and throw out 400!!!!! It really didn’t matter because we ran out of time anyway.
–Lots of picking up the six as guys were helping out other teams with their reps. That’s what this thing is all about. I saw a quote the other day on The Brothers of F3Nation Facebook page that said “A F3 workout is not dumbed down or slowed down, but no man is left behind.”
–Good times at coffeteria as the fun continued there. Pharaoh passed on some inside knowledge on mermaids. #showtoknow
–3 years into this crazy F3 journey and it still amazes me that in 40 degree rain that 11 other adult guys would join me to push each other to get better. In these types of conditions these gentlemen are the only thing that gets me out of bed. You guys may never know how much I appreciate that.
