The Thang & Mumblechatter Combo

If 27 degree weather and ice on the roads are considered perfect conditions to run in…… Then today’s cruise was perfect.  At least 8 PAX and a K9 thought so.

Thinking that a lower mileage route would draw out Dingo and his new running mate Pongo, I was right, and they both posted.  Little did I know they would take that short run and cut it shorter, oh wait I mean modify it, but they did.   I was just happy to see them out getting some work in, that gives them a head start over the 2M+ men that call Charlotte home and did were not out to get any work in this morning. Well Done!

The route took us all the way up Governor Hunt to Mallard Creek Church Road, which looked like a great idea on footpath in a warm living room sitting be a cozy fire.  Didn’t quite translate that well in real life.  From YHC’s “Brokearss” going wild with pain on the way up the hill, to the massive ice sculpture at the top of the hill to this being the section of the route Dingo and Pongo would cut out, not tell anyone and watch Urlacher and Anvil running in circles trying to pick up the 6 that went rouge. ( It was funny )

Fenway made the trip today, always a pleasure to have her on a Cruise and congrats to Osceola running at the front of the pack today.  He discovered the magic of added miles picking up the 6. ( he’ll never be the same again )

I think YHC was the only Man Down ice casualty of the morning trying to the hit the breaks on the ice…. I hope the guy in the car is still laughing…
