Wet or Dry? Hmmmm….
All Rolling Stone BackblastsNovember 13th, 2018
7 rolled out for what could have been a completely wet, muddy mess. The presence of rain and rumbles of leaving early, nudged the Q to pick the “Dry” workout prepared on the “pumpkin spice” winkie. Briefed the typical legal jazz and we were off.
Warmarama:
Quick Mosey with light rain in the Odell School parking lot. Pax still questioning if the rain was going to be a factor. Some butt kickers and elbows to ankles and the Pax found themselves under the shelter of the the school entrance.
In Cadence: 12 SSH (Meant to be 11 but we will chalk that up to my VQ), 11 Windmills, 11 Cotton Pickers, 11 IST
The Thang:
Staying dry under the roof, the Pax broke out in pairs. One partner doing Can-Cans in People’s Chair on the wall, while the other partner started Shoulder Taps in the Balls to the Wall Position counting as many reps as possible to tap out to their partner mid Can-Can. This continues back and forth up to 220 reps. 220 reps were repeated counting Donkey Kicks while partner was performing Air Presses in People’s Chair. Not too much rumble chatter here. It started with the next phase of a 40-4 ladder Merkins and Vertical jumps to the wall. Buffet first to call out “Do you know how many Merkins that is?” The Q stated too bad count it out. (Later determined that it was 220) Bouche struggled with Merkins due to some sort of injury as a child. Something about a “Skake-a-Weight” was involved. Mumbles of Total Recall and triple nipples!?#%. Hard for the Q to make out at the other end. 40-4 Ladder repeated with Balboas and LBCs.
Mary:
22 Low Flutters in cadence and 44 Freddy Mercuries on your own.
Announcements and Prayers:
