Astrovan and Hot Wheels headed out for a spirited Pre Run, a 2.4 miler through campus with a crazy uphill that for some reason Astrovan likes to attack. En-route Hot Wheels spots a brand new parking deck that would later become Pain Station #3

4 PAX posted for a wanders tour of the UNCC campus by a geography challenged Q.  Warnings given and yet everyone begins the Beat Down.

Warm Up

Mosey to the medallion in the center of Campus to circle up for…..

20SSH, 10CP/10WM, 20IST, 20Mountain Climbers and arm circles…..

The Thang

Pain Station 1

Mosey to the Long Green Lawn and head inside the labyrinth for a 5-10-15-20-15-10-5 Medley of    Dips / WWII  Mosey on to the next Pain Station.

Stop at  the rest area ( Pavilion )  for 2 minute Wall Sit and 1 minute balls to the wall, then on to our destination point.

Pain Station 2

Jerry Richards Stadium for Partner Meet Ups, starting at the statue 20 Mercins, each partner goes in opposite directions to meet at the other end of the stadium for 10 Raised Leg Throw Downs for Each Partner – Rinse and Repeat X 3, mosey on to the next pain station.

Pain Station 3

New Parking Deck across from the pavilion for the following fun times. Run up the stairs to the top of the deck, run down stopping at each level for 20 Each of these exercises Squats, Plank Jacks, Lunge ( 10 each Leg ), Mountain Climbers, Apollo Ono ( Had to Cancel These, darn it ran out of time )

Mosey back to the Center Point medallion for Sally ( music credit song , Flower by Moby ) from the Mercin position, bring sally up, ( push up ) bring sally down, ( back to the down position ) for approx 3 minutes of the song.

Mosey back the Parking Lot 7 for COT.

Mumble chatter, odd how the first 30 minutes go so slow and the back 30 minutes don’t leave enough time to complete the “Planned” workout.  Amway – The sunsets have been great this week, shows off last nights sunset as a distraction to breath, Deuce, at the end of the work out, no wait it’s only 3.96 miles, gotta get 4.
