The PAX gathered up for instructions.  With the high temperature of 94 degrees in Kabul, Afghanistan, 100lbs of gear and extremely deadly operations, the PAX will never be able to simulate the intensity needed by our country’s finest.  However, we can Remember Everyone Deployed as we pray for them consistently.  Ask, seek, knock from Matthew 7:8 is better translated keep on asking, keep on seeking and keep on knocking.  Therefore, the PAX was challenged to remember in prayer during the workout and at other times those who serve our country by sending up a simple prayer in the moment.

The PAX completed 3 rounds and allowed the PAX to come back together after each round with a slow mosey around the small track.  The goal was to perform the slow mosey in step with each other.  Clearly the PAX needs practice on that.

Here is a summary for Captain Frank…

Captain Warren A. Frank, 26, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died November 25, 2008 while supporting combat operations in Ninewa province, Iraq. While participating in a food distribution mission north of Baghdad, his team came under small arms fire by an attacker in an Iraqi soldier’s uniform. It was not known if the outfit was a disguise or if the Marine was slain by an Iraqi soldier. Also killed in the attack was another U.S. soldier. Several service members were injured.

“Our son wanted nothing more than to make a difference in our world,” said Frank’s father, Warren R. Frank, in a statement sent to the media. “He was not a movie version soldier, but a man who looked forward to loving his children.”

Frank grew up in Anderson Township. He is survived by his wife, Allison, and daughters Sophia Lynn and Isabella Grace. He also leaves behind his father, his mother, Rebecca, and his sister Sara. Frank is a 2000 graduate of Turpin High School and a 2004 graduate of the Citadel.
