Climbing the mountain without the elevation gain

All Rolling Stone Backblasts

July 19th, 2018 By Jimmy Buffett

YHC rode in carrying the shovel flag to see a few Pax waiting. As the shovel flag is planted, a traffic jam with a standoff between the remaining Pax and a lady walking her dog ensues. Eventually it all gets sorted out so that the dog can get its exercise and the Pax can join the workout.

Watch strikes 5:30 so Disclaimer that we will be covering many types of terrain including concrete, asphalt, gravel, sand, grass and tar. Wheels immediately turning in everyone’s head as to how this is going to happen. Let’s mosey.

Quick stop at entrance to the Double Lizard Greenway for monkey humpers x 10 in cadence. Chance to wait for any late arriving Pax (no takers); chance to impress/scare any innocent cars driving by (no takers); chance for YHC’s GPS to get going (done).

Let’s mosey to the big rock at HRMS for Warmarama

Mosey to the track for the Thang

Mosey back to AO for Mary

  1. Good beat down.

Yeah, about those mason twists…it’s more of a core exercise than an arm exercise. I saw form dropping off. As for myself, my feet weren’t off the ground around count 8.

  2. 100% core. Good form would be feet off the ground. I prefer feet next to each other and not crossed. One leg tends to hold the other leg up a little when crossed.
Also shoulders should become near perpendicular to legs and hands touching ground on each side. Most people count too fast for this extended range of motion though.

  3. Solid JB! Let’s be real, you were just going for the Q-drenaline victory with the mason twists to wait for everyone to tap out, which you did:) Getting over 30 IC is more than a few. Good call on the prayer request for Project this weekend for his HTL!
