13 men reported for duty this morning, two (@Softwood & @Jackpot) for some extra credit with a pre-run.  It’s great to see @Jackpot back in the gloom!  Here’s how things unfolded:

Short mosey to our warm-o-rama lot.  The Pax were pleased with that.

We headed over to YHC’s low rider where the Pax got to see what was in store from them.  It was time that the Comanche Pax were properly introduced to a good old fashion jug-o-lug.  The mumblechatter was flowing freely after that as jugs became the topic of conversation for the rest of the beatdown.  @Softwood and @Forgotten Jelly knew what was coming and they got to enjoy the different reactions of the Pax.  You see, my trunk was full of @Dingo’s illustrious Arm & Hammer laundry detergent bottles that @The Farm borrowed last week for the Davis Lake Pax.  MUCH better than the gallon jugs we used to use for these things.  Jokes were made about how much laundry @Dingo must do on a weekly basis.   @softwood about blew us up with a methane blast before we got started.  @forgotten Jelly giggled like a school girl throughout the beatdown.  YHC and others joined in on the methane party at various points during the beatdown.  The main topic of discussion of course were the preferences of the Pax.  Small jugs (@softwood’s preference), big jugs (most of the Pax’s preference), perky jugs (I think all Pax liked those), not all the way full jugs (@Robin’s Nest mention.?.?), and many more.   It’s a good thing we had @Hardwood and @Montezuma’s Revenge with us to hear all the inappropriate conduct.  They probably went to school today telling everyone they did a beatdown with jug and jugs were discussed the whole time…

The Thang:  Partner up.  Two jugs per pair.  One partner carries both jugs at the same time and the jugs cannot hit the ground for the rest of the beatdown or ALL Pax have to pay a 10 burpee penalty.  You can pass your jugs to your partner, but the person with the jugs has to do 10 shoulder presses and the other partner, 10 merkins to do so.

Mosey up the hill toward the high school, traveling around the high school from right to left and back to the elementary school, stopping at every other light pole on the right for some exercises.   We may have modified to add a few poles on the left or skip a pole that close by another, but all in the name of making the beatdown more effective.

At first, the partner with no jugs did 10 Merkins and 20 LBC’s at each stop while the jug-o-lugger did 10 squats and 10 shoulder presses.  After everyone got in two stations of each, we switched it up.

Pax sans jugs does 10 WWII sit ups and 10 Bobby Hurley’s, while the jug-o-lugger does 10 curls and 10 frontal raises.

After several stations of the above, we switched it up again to 10 reverse crunch and 10 merkins for the non jug-o-lugger and 10 flies and 10 upright rows for the jug holder.

YHC then decided that everyone should drop their jugs and do 10 burpees and 50 air squats just because.  The Pax were questioning my judgment at this point.  Our #Kotter (@Avalanche) decided that he was going to read pre-blasts before posting for the first time after a hibernation period to avoid beatdowns like today.  @Robin’s Nest’s shoulders were fried.  After complaining that his jugs were not all the way filled up at first, he was no longer doing so at this point.

After the burpee/squat medley, we continued our jug-o-lug mosey with 10 Curls and 10 Triceps Extensions for the jug-o-lugger and 10 Box Cutters and 10 plank jacks (@softwood’s call) for the non jug holders.

4. Upper bodies were smoked and cores were blasted.  Methane and diesel fuel filled the air.  Such a pleasant combination at 0530.
