Five men met in the gloom at the turn-1 parking lot at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The breezy 57 degree weather was ideal for a workout and this is how it went:
Mosey across the turn 1 parking lot with butt kickers and high knees
Warm-o-rama
SSH, IST, windmill, merkins, mountain climbers, burpees
The Thang
- Mosey along service road towards turn 4
- run up & down ramp 5 times ….. at top 8 merkins, at bottom 8 WW II situps
- Mosey
- stop at bench for 20 step-ups each leg
- mosey to 1st brige over Highway 29
- run over and back across bridge x 5…8 merkins on far end, 2 burpees on bridge on return, 8 WW II sit-ups at end
- mosey to steep grass bank outside turn 4
- run up and down the steep bank 5 times – 8 merkins at top, 8 WW II sit-ups at bottom
- mosey back towards turn 1
- stop at bench for 25 dips
- mosey some more
- stop at next bench for 20 step-ups each leg and 25 dips
- mosey back for Mary
- Little Baby Crunches

- Speed for Need was making a difference over the weekend also, with Exit54 taking three chairs to Chapel Hill for the Tarheel Ten Miler, and two chairs were in action at the Christina Latini Memorial 8K in Huntersville.
