Shark, NO!, Bell, NO!, Welcome Cruiskin Nado!
All Rolling Stone BackblastsApril 18th, 2018
In June of 2017, I had signed up to Q a cruise and had come up with a “nado” kind of cardio workout with various cardio regiments done in sequence with a non-cardio exercise in between. I was toying with doing it in the parking lot at the time. The pinched nerve in my neck became aggravated and I had to delay my plans. Weather was perfect this morning, 50 or so degrees.

Mosey
Heatstroke w pack, Beef and I moseyed to the track at the middle school and met Project there, having gone through a PFT warm-up.
The Thang
Begin at the middle of the straighaway on the left side of the track as we arrive. Cardio regiment consists of:
- quadraphelia to end of straight away, and back
- suicides into the field, 3 cones carefully placed about 20 feet apart
- karayoke back to other end of straight away, and back
- run lap
Each cardio exercise ends with 15 merkins. So with 4 cardio exercises in a round, each round racks up 60 merkins. @Heatstroke killed it with 5 rounds, that’s 300 merkins if you’re counting at home, and a 5 mile run including his pre-run-Ruck workout. Whew! Beef and I did 4 rounds, which I think put us at 2.5 miles roughly and 240 merkins. Project recovering from PFT did 3 rounds, and was around 4-5 miles as well. Well done, guys.

Aye!
Great one @schnitzel! So glad you are well enough to have come out and lead this gem of a workout! That works as a cruise or a bootcamp. Man, Beef was flying around on the laps, practically sprinting at points. Nice job by @project passing the APFT…easily. Great work by all.
my goal on the last lap was to finish before @Heatstroke, even though you were a quarter of the track, ahead of me. That’s when I sprinted about the whole thing, and I felt kinda sick afterwards, and couldn’t continue for a couple of minutes. But great work Heatstroke, completing five full rotations. Great Q @Schnitzel, that was my first cruise, and, boy what a workout that was!
