Abandon The Plan

All Comanche Backblasts

February 17th, 2018 By Alcatraz

A PAX of 18 gathered in a bus littered parking lot.  Clouds were thick but the spirits were light as these men decided to get their weekend going with a good bit of 1st F and some 2nd F mixed in along the way.  Disclaimer given and a mosey began to the top of the big hill for…

WARMARAMA:

Mosey to the elementary school bus parking lot.

THE THANG:

At the four corners of the school the following  series was completed

Repeato with 2 rounds of GBS and Pull Ups and doubled up on the second exercise for the other 3 corners.

Mosey down to the rocks for some reps then rotate on

Reverse run up to the picnic shelter with @Dodger and @DuffelBag setting the pace.  Although YHC didn’t see the finish, it was reported @Dodger took a very rare 2nd place to @Duffel’s defensive back skills.

In the shelter, the PAX performed the following for a 10 and 20 count:

With the buses shuttling back across the parking lot, it seemed much safer to stop in the field for…

MARY:

COT and BOM!

THE “ABANDON THE PLAN” MOLESKIN:

  1. Great work today gentlemen!  YHC decided to “abandon the plan” of 4 rotations around the school with multipliers of 3 and 4 on the subsequent rounds.  We will come back to this and get 3 rounds next time.
  2. It’s always nice to keep the PAX together and enjoy some of the 2nd F.
  3. Much respect to the ruck efforts of @KleanUp and @Sugar!
  4. No MCP on March 3 as there is a convergence at @Tradition.
  5. Apologies as there is a name absent from the list.  Please sound off in the comments below for the missing PAX.

Always an honor to lead the PAX!

  1. There’s no question, if we had extended to multipliers of four, Mutiny would have ensued.

  2. Pony Boy is missing Pax. He was smart enough to leave this BS workout early! Just kidding. Will feel this one for a while. Well done.

    1. Thanks! I can’t believe I left him off when I almost included his early exit in the BB.

  3. Any of you digital-savvy PAX track how much ground we covered yesterday?

    1. I started a little late but close guess according to my watch was 1.8 miles.

      1. Aye! Thanks, @DropCloth.
