This group of 7 pax (plus 2 more runners) showed up for their first regulated exam of the year. This morning’s exam was sure to be a cold effort but this faithful group stood up for the appointed time, gloom time, to be counted and measured by a little WIB we like to call MightyMAX.

THE WIB – MightyMAX

• 20min AMRAP
• 10 burpees

THE RESULTS

• High Chair completed 400 reps in this his 4th attempt (30 reps over his most recent attempt, 40 reps under his maximum effort to date in October 2016)
• In his return from the IR, Blue Crush topped the field today completing 530 reps in this his fifth attempt (67 reps under his most recent attempt, 68 reps under his maximum effort to date in July 2017)
• Chum completed 406 reps in this his sixth attempt (106 reps over his most recent attempt (marked IR), 94 reps under his maximum effort to date in April 2017)
• While modifying due to IR status, The Body refused to take it easy and completed 400 reps while in this his third attempt (170 reps under his most recent test which also was his maximum effort to date in October 2017)
• Hugo completed 500 reps in this his 4th attempt (40 reps under his most recent attempt which also was his maximum effort to date in October 2017)
• RibShack turned in the morning’s only improvement over past attempts by completing 475 reps in this his 2nd attempt (35 reps over that first attempt making this morning his maximum effort to date)
• The rookie, Convoy, completed 400 reps in this his first attempt at the MightyMAX, modifying from burpees to merkins due to IR issues stemming from the fact that he is only been a week in the gloom of F3.

MAX is mighty but small, so we did a little bit more with this…
