2 Timothy 1:7 “God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

Usually I find a verse to close this out, but this one was front and center in my mind for the past day or so. Our neighbor was broken into.

Twice.

There’s fear of a left-behind device (YHC got volunteered to become a network scanning expert). All of the kids on our street are freaked out – including mine. I had to spend most of the evening on the phone with a technician trying to get something fixed on our alarm system (unsuccessfully).

My stomach was upset.

It’s 20 degrees.

A spirit of fear can hang on to anyone one of those and not take the DRP. Power, love and self-control jumpers the connection, convinces everyone everything is as safe as it was, takes an Imodium, scrawls out a quick winke, gets as much sleep as you can with a bed full of jittery 2.0s, remembers his gloves (but forgets his hat), and posts. That same attitude carries through past 0615 to deal with the thankless task of adulting. The good news is: the worst, most unorganized part of your day is over, fellas.

  1. Aye!

  2. FYI, that was by far the most organized part of my day. Great Q Kilowatt.

  3. Was it Hoover or Hummer? I thought Hummer…

    1. Fixed

  4. I’ll do you one better than a Chuck Norris joke:

    1. Brilliant

  5. You mean my ADT sign outside does not make a complete security system? Yeah, his name is Hummer. Nice work under not so ideal overall conditions for you, Kilowatt. Nice job requesting mumblechatter.
