Slippery when Icy
All Rolling Stone BackblastsJanuary 9th, 2018
9 men gathered in the seemingly balmy weather to see what YHC had in store for them today. It has been sub 20 degrees for 3 weeks but due to lack of rain, conditions remained relatively safe. Today it warms up into the 30s and we have to watch out for ice. Go figure.
Mosey around with some high knees followed by butt kickers to the drop off zone where we shuffle all the way to the right and then all the way back to the left until we are under the street light for some

Announcements
- Run For Your Life $200 gift card raffle. $10 per entry. Enter as much as you like. See slack or email updates for details additional.
- Heatstroke with the Q at Mineshaft (UNCC) Saturday at 7am. Awesome AO, so many options. For those that missed the launch this past Saturday, I highly recommend checking it out.
- Need bodies to participate in some of the team practices for the Ruck Heavy. Actual ruck optional. Kilowatt can fill in extra details.
Prayers
- Prayers for those that have been absent for a while. Whether its injury, motivation or personal conflicts, help heal them and bring them back out. We need them and they need us. Brotherhood and fellowship.
- Special thought goes out to Cheech’s family. I think about him every time I am out running. It is dark, it is cold. Drivers aren’t always paying attention. Even if you have the right of way, make sure cars know that too. You may be right, but you won’t win. Stay safe.
Moleskin
- 10 is good but I expected a few more with temps in the 30s. No more Monday night football games. Let’s get everyone back out here.
- Someone mentioned we covered almost 2.5 miles today. Not bad, especially since I cut out a lot of running due to potential black ice. Yes, you read that correctly. Need. More. Running. Oh, and some jump ups too. Goal of my next Q is to destroy the legs. (You’ve been warned) I’ll come up with something good. Was afraid today if we went with entire original plan people wouldn’t be able to walk, not due to difficulty, but due to injury. We’re not here for easy; but we are definitely not here for injury.

Well done Jimmy! Aside from losing a pound of mucus as opposed to a pound of sweat I felt good until the darn suicide fiasco. Good to be back out!
Thanks Sugar! Great having you back out there. Dropping pounds is all that matters. Work that sickness out of the body.
Great Q, Jimmy! Liked that we got around even with the black ice.
Excellent Q Jimmy! Nice employment of merkin variations.
Sugar – Welcome back and thanks for partnering ole boy! …almost respect
