Riding that Trane NOT high on cocaine…(grateful dead reference for those of you who didn’t attend App State)
Two days post-Xmas at 31 degrees, 10 pax launched from back of Trane where butt-kickers, high knees, soldier kicks were performed to warm up. Warm-o-rama continued by moseying to OCT (Old Courthouse Theatre) via Union Street and Cabarrus Ave.
At OCT we performed:
-arm circles
-walkout merkins
-windmill stretches
-alternating v-ups
-alternating supermans, cobra and downward dog stretches
-plank w variations
Moseyed from OCT to bottom of Carolina Courts (CC) for That Thang:
-10 windmill merkins at foot of CC’s steps; JOG to second floor of parking deck to perform plank w variations; and, JOG to fourth/top parking deck floor to perform 10 burpees. This rinse-repeat cycle began around 0545 and concluded around 0613-14 when QIC called for MARY to be held at OCT. All Pax finally arrived at OCT at 0616 where the count off, etc was conducted as time elapsed for further exercising.

-thanks to Exit for driving in from the ‘Burg to post and for post-workout cafe at SB– I’ve had some good times w that dude drinking, exercising and laughing— this man’s a savage when it comes to fantasy football, running and merkins– still feels off (like a hole in your pocket) that he moved to the ‘Burg…
-missed my pal, KGB, this morning as he’s frolicking on the snowy slopes in ever-trendy Lake Tahoe— say, “hello” to Tom Cruise for me– don’t accept his invitation for Scientology church service as they will blackmail you w gay nude photos or at least they reportedly did to John Travolta so he can’t leave this “church”— be careful man
-Pyscho has remarked more and more of late that he genuinely misses Tick–Tick should be featured on CMT’s video to Luke Bryan’s “huntin’, fishin’ and lovin’ every day…” country tune— return to the gloom homey once all the killing seasons are done— i know you miss the cafe at least and especially BRR talk– Anvil wants you on his 6-man van/training begins yesterday
-TP, Indy and Hip holding it down this morning as RESPECTS; hopefully I can come close to the same once I ascend to that level
-Looking forward to more qt w firebird now that he’s on the mend– it’s gotta be depressing to lose that much bicep muscle mass due to post-surgery muscle mass
-Luther proudly boasted winning his non-f3 fantasy football league at Psycho and Exit’s expense– looked like he just done won the lottery
-Grover told one pax yesterday he was def posting this morning, but he must have been gettin’ busy in the sack (his standard no-post excuse)
or maybe stroking his keys solo on the couch as he was a no-show
-Best wishes to Trickdaddy as he departs for Brasil in next couple days— gonna miss that dude as he is an integral pax member and stand-up guy
-Big shout-out to Cat for a strong combined Q last Saturday at Kannon and to both Cat and BD for playing Santa post-workout in delivery of gifts to needy kids
