Second Running of the F3 Grand Prix

All Highlands Backblasts

October 10th, 2017 By Barrister

14 PAX showed up for the second running of the F3 Grand Prix. The humidity and the knowledge of what was to come did not prevent these brave men from getting out of the fart sack and undertaking the pain and torture of the F3 Grand Prix. A very thorough disclaimer was given and off we went.

Warm-A-Rama:
Mosey to the back parking lot beside the track with a little quad-ra-phillia(sp), a little Google bun shapers and a little more mosey.

Circle Up
• 15 x SSH
• 15 x Cotton Pickers (Disaster noted YHC’s cadence wasn’t as loud as normal; that is what happens when a 20 lbs. rucksack keeps hitting you in the back of the head #rucksack fail)
• 15 x IST
• 15 x Mountain Climbers

The Thang: The F3 Grand Prix
It all takes place around the track. The PAX begin by doing 10 Burpees at the starting line. They then make their way around the track between turns 1 and 2 where the PAX do 20 Mercans. The PAX then run to the back stretch where the PAX do 30 LBCs. The PAX continue around the track between turns 3 and 4 where they perform 40 lunges. Rinse and Repeat-o until time is called.

PAX record their laps for posterity. (DNS = Did Not Start)

1. Great work guys. Seemed like everyone truly pushed themselves.
2. @Eli, we are praying for you and your wife. We hope the delivery goes smoothly and the next time you post you will be telling us about how the joys of fatherhood (and bemoaning about how little sleep you are getting).
3. Thanks again everyone for giving me the opportunity to lead you. I have truly enjoyed these last ten months of continually rolling out of bed and working my body and my spirit. It is truly a pleasure to be a member of this great organization.

  1. Nice work @Barrister. Extra points for being the only guy to try this with a Ruck. I only completed 5 laps but it felt like 5.6 when I was done. I wanted to make sure #1 got full credit for his second place finish. Nice job by @Frodo as well. Clearly he needs more of a challenge than the rest of us can offer.

    1. @Disaster I thought 5.6 was a little too precise. Maybe I should have handed the ruck off to @Frodo as he passed me to give him a little bit of a challenge.
