8 strong-hearted pax and one street cleaner showed up in the cool fall gloom to undergo the wednesday ritual reminding them that they are alive and and not alone (at least that’s what the Q felt)

Not going anywhere this morning because there’s plenty o’ pain to be harvested at the Coal train itself.

Warmup:
Indian Run from parking lot, around front of school, around block to back fence.

Station 1:
Swingset pullups (lay stiff as a board underneath swing, use chains to pull up) 10X
Mason Twist 20X

Station 2:
Pullups 5x
Tiger Killers 20X (10 each leg) (a move like Freddie Merc, except legs return to 6″ after each rep)

Station 3:
Merkins 20X
Quadrophilia 2X

Station 4:
lap around the school block. Once complete, start at Station 1, bumping the other teams up to the next station.

So… waiting for the pax to gather and stretch pre-beat down, this city street cleaner, comes in and starts roaming through the parking lot, around and around. It was kinda intimidating, as he swept close to our cars and kicked up a lot of dust. We just kind of stared at him with dumb expressions and pretending to not get the hint that we should move our cars – except Skinner, who as principle (and probably on the public school parking lot sweeping schedule committee) left his car at home and ran in instead. But he lost his house key somewhere during the work out, so if anyone happens to find it on a subsequent visit to the AO, I assure you there are great eats in the fridge. Just leave the key on the counter when done. Once we launched into the indian run, the guys wanted to take it up to Forest Hill but I wasn’t going to let them have too much fun because I’m the Q and there’s no Q in fun (or is it the other way around?) Why was everyone wining about pullups? FC, any ideas?

Lifting up prayers for FC’s wing job, Custom’s lost puppy, and a whole lot of hurt across the nation.
