Surprise- Old Glory!

All Comanche Backblasts

September 21st, 2017 By Buckwheat

11 Men made their best decision of the young morning by arising from the fartsack and showing up for Old Glory.  They didn’t know what was in store for them, but after @Ace Ventura chastised YHC for not pre-running this morning, he understood why I didn’t pre-run when I announced with a smile that there was no need for a pre-run today as were doing Old Glory!  The whining, moaning, and groaning commenced immediately when Old Glory was explained.

The Thang:  1 mile run (we skipped the AYG part and stayed together as no one knew the route and it was difficult to explain).  Once back to our main lot, AMRAP run the .20 mile loop w/ pain stations on each corner.  Corner 1: 20 mericans.  Corner 2: 20 jump squats.  Corner 3: 10 Burpees.  Corner 4:  20 WWII Sit Ups.  We did a .45 mile fellowship mosey at the end w/ each Pax member carrying Old Glory at some point.  It calls for a mile at the end, but there was so much hate in the air, I decided to give the Pax a break for their hard work during the first mile and exercise loops.

@Robins Nest skipped the mile warm up because he’s nursing shin splints.  Everyone else got er done!

Since we finished a few minutes early, we added a speed round of Mary, all IC:  10 Pretzel Crunch, 10 Rosalita, 10 Low Dolly, 10 Low Flutter, 10 LBC, 10 Plank Jack

TClaps to all, especially my respect crew for toughing it through today.  I know most of you hate running.  I do too!  More of it will make you better, trust me!

Sound off below w/ your loop count.

Robin’s Nest did 5.3, I believe  (minus the mile run).

Buckwheat and Avalanche led the way for the milers w/ 4.2.

Moleskin

MeCa wide xmas party is being planned.  We can do a smaller one too if ya’ll would like.?

Waiting on shirt order link.

Continued prayers for Pongo’s family in Puerto Rico.  May the lines of communication open today and bring Pongo some good news that they are safe and sound.

Time to get to work!
