This was a full body shredder, with special attention to shoulders and guns. Burpees set the pain threshhold high, crawling up the hill kept it there. It was truly a heart-warming sight to look down from the hill and see PAX splayed out on the sidewalk, pushing through their pain. Special props go out to Smith & Wesson, who gave it everything as he worked his way up the hill, inspirational with his grit and determination. No PAX completed the first WOD although Q did get to caress Catfish’s sweaty legs, so there’s that. When time was called, PAX were witnessed doubled over, gasping, and perhaps we heard the sweet sound of retching but that may only be wishful thinking. Q will try harder next time. Rock suicides seemed to add that last extra bit of fun as PAX straggled into Mary like The Walking Dead, with Homeland the first zombie in.
Prayers out to James, for continued healing, for our troops facing new commitments overseas, and for Smith family (check me on this..was it Judy?)
battling a debilitating illness resulting only from a desire to serve the greater good.
Thank you PAX for turning out, thank you for your inspiration and fellowship.
Aye!
