1 year ago today we started F3 @ The G and had hopes of teachers, securities guards, administrators and even student athletes joining us in droves… and that wasn’t the case. In reality there were several days that YHC showed up and was the only one TO show up…. which resulted not in a self disciplined workout but in a quick power nap before teaching Spanish all day to some of garingers finest students.

Today 16 PAX showed up which nearly tripled our weekly average. With three separate Q’S to show them all that we have to work with at The G we began…

Warm up:

Mosey around parking lot
Imperial storm troopers X 12
Cotton picker. X 12
Side straddle hop X 12
10 merkins
5 burpees

The thang:
(Too much time was spent by YHC to make coffee that should have been spent on prep for tires and bricks. The PAX brought them all over with plenty of mumble chatter to keep them entertained)

Split into 3 groups

Group 1: Push my “not so little honda fit” car to top of the “not so little hill”. X3

Bricks, Tires and tire drag

10 X cinderblock curls
10 X Trunk tire twists on telephone poles
Rotate through dragging the big truck tires to and fro

Put the great away

Mosey to court yard

Rube’s time to Q:
Group 1: Ladder of pull ups and merkins 8-1

Group 2: bear crawl across courtyard (pipeline and YHC tied for fastest and best), reverse spiderman up stairs X3 with burpees at the top

Swap

Triple Threats time to Q:
Mosey to back football field where the 4 person football tackling sled awaited us. A little walk down memory lane for some, a whole new experience for the rest.

Up downs for group 1 while group 2 pushes sled 50 feet. Repeat until both groups have pushed sled 3 times. (The group led by @buckwheat slacked off for some L.B.C.’s, not sure why…)

Mosey back up front for Mary (I went and grabbed the coffee that was brewing in my classroom)
