12 manly men ignored the call of the fartsack and the Q’s warning email to brave the cold and the promise of pain. 24 degrees and clear, but it would warm up fast.

Warm Up:
Jog through parking lot adding butt kickers, high knees, and karaoke both directions.

Mosey to Hill 216

The Thang:
Run up hill
10 burpees
Down hill
20 LBCs
Up Hill
8 Burpees
Down Hill
20 LBCs
Repeato until down to 2 burpees at top of hill, but not decreasing LBCs

Mosey to parking deck

2 groups sprint AYG up 3 inclines of deck and jog flats between.
Top of deck:
Merks x 20 SC

Mosey to Beverly Hills School

Sprint AYG from bottom of big hill in front of school to Uwharrie Bank (approx. 1/4 mile)
Uwharrie Bank Parking Lot:
Brazilians x 20 IC (Catfish was honored to call cadence on this one)
Peter Parkers x 10

Mosey back down hill to Beverly Hills School playground
Bunny Hop up steps to the school
Grab some wall for Derkins x 20 SC
Run back down hill to playground

Moleskin:
What a group this morning! Great effort by all. If you don’t like to run, you hated this workout. Even if you do like to run, you may have still hated this workout but no complaints were heard. Just a lot of heavy breathing. Sprints and jogging were 85% of it. I don’t know of anyone who wasn’t gassed at the end. Sprint in front of school was the icing on top of everyone’s cake and the bunny hops at the school after that almost did the Q in. Gooney’s watch said he burned 850 cals in an hour. TP thought it was going to be a distance run…sorry to disappoint.
Prayers were lifted up for S&W and family, John Johnson and family–both going through cancer treatments.

I will be giving gift cards to S&W tomorrow. I believe about $630 was collected between cash and cards. Don’t know exact number because not all the cards had amounts on them. Great job men!! It’s an honor to serve with other men who care about each other and their families.
