Where’s all the snow?

All All MECA Backblasts

January 7th, 2017 By Murdock

For days, the PAX of CLT prepared for the worst.  They shopped for provisions, cowered in fear and it was all because of the impending Snowmageddon 2017.  Five to eight inches of snow layered on an icy mix was the promise from those who predicted the polar ice caps would have melted by now.  Again… They were wrong.

10 PAX (with a brief Chowder sighting that doesn’t count) braved what was the most disappointing of snow storms in a long while.  It was windy and slushy more than icey.

Having prepared for a powdery mix – the Q improvised.

Short warmarama with the typical stuff.

Mosey toward the buses and make camp for a 1 to 15 ladder (by ones) of merkins and jump squats – starting at 5 because anything less would be pointless.

Mosey through the buses to the MC HS loading dock – the only semi dry and wind sheltered locale.

Various rounds of merkins with lunges, merkins with WWII situps, merkins with whatever – interspersed with various short runs around the islands, inbetwixt ALL of the buses, etc…

Some group work on the dock via Homer to Marge and some Imperial Storm Troopers.

Mosey back through the buses toward Mary.

Three, yes, three SSH and the Q calls it early so we can spend some quality time at IHOP.  Q didn’t win the 2nd F award for nuthin’.

Much merrymaking at IHOP where we found Chowder stuffing all-u-can eat flapjacks into his pie hole and pretty much pouring Butter Pecan Syrup down his gullet.

Pavorati joined the merrymaking.

Good times.
