All All MECA Backblasts

May 14th, 2016 By Hootie

14 showed to see what’s in store when a mythical creature returns from the abyss.  Nothing to see here.  What it lacked in creativity was made up in miles and scenic views.  No one really knows what happened nor do they care.  Point is it happened and we all lived to tell about it.  Except for Swami.

It all started as we circled up to discuss the day’s endeavors.  It was here that Swami determined his turban was too tight and thought sipping on Bull’s teet may help with the pressure.  We’ll never know the true outcome as he whisked away on his magic carpet under this guise of helping Nautilus relieve himself at the local donut shop following their early morning frolic through suburbia.  While we all questioned his motives, most were secretly jealous and set off into the woods down an oh so familiar hill looking for the peace and tranquility that only it coud provide. Having lost its luster, we abruptly left the comforting creature and took to the streets of our righteous town and landed ever so softly in the comfy confines of a paved paradise.  Through the craziness and chaos of the carnival that we encountered, one young padawon stumbled upon the secret nugget of truth which held the key to our freedom which eventually set us free to continue our exploration.  Why yes…that WAS Mary.  She was fun while she lasted and I think we all enjoyed the relief she brought and escape from the reality we were all in.

Having had our way with her, the merry band of misfts continued on their way in search of our lead brain trainer who was yet to return.  A tour of his old stomping grounds revealed little no matter how many times they looked.  With little to show for their efforts, the crew set sail with their sights set on home.  The journey home was peaceful and provided the closure needed to put the days events behind them and begin to forge ahead without their comrade.
