We are quickly approaching the running of the 4th Annual Joe Davis Run on 1/9 at 8:00 AM.  The Men of F3, the Women of FiA, and their family and friends have responded tremendously through registering to run, registering to volunteer, and just registering to support a great cause, and a great family!

We wanted to get 200 combined participants from F3 and FiA, and as of this week, we are right at 130-140… so we need 60-70 more registrations, which is completely doable!

Here are a few items we want you to know as we get closer:

1. It’s not too late to register for the race.  As incentive, The Davis Boyd Family has setup a 1-day discount code for Jan 1, 2016  to receive $5 off of the registration fee.  The discount code is RESOLUTION_2016.
2. Be sure to indicate your team as F3 or FiA as appropriate.
3. WE STILL NEED NON-RUNNING VOLUNTEERS.  Volunteers should register through the site so the organizers know how many volunteers to expect.  FYI… This is a great opportunity for Middle School/High School-aged 2.0’s to get some community service hours!
4. FINALLY… we will plan to utilize cross-country scoring of the top 5 finishers from each race (5K/10K) to see if The Fort, Metro, FiA, or the rest of F3 can unseat Area 51 for top honors in the Joe Davis Run.  (FYI… That scoring means adding the place value for the top 5 runners in each race from those teams… low total team score wins).  Winner gets bragging rights for an entire year!
