Here, There, and Erry-where!

It’s that time of year again. In spite of the colder weather, 15 eskimos-in-training shook-loose the shackles of the warm covers and posted for an adventure that covered all of our favorite spots.
1.0 BLAST
WarmUp:
We started the voyage with a mosey to the Belk parking lot. Let’s start with
-SSH x20
-Hillbillies x20
-Air Squats x20
The Thang:
We embarked on our travels, via Indian Run, around the mall. Uh, oh…PoPo.. drop and give me some
-Drydocks x15
Back in Indian Run formation, we continued to the Sears lot. We stopped to enjoy a few:
-De-Constructed Burpees x10 (squat x10, stump jumpers x10, merkins x10, stump jumpers x10, Squat jumps x10)
before returning to the Indian Run formation to the Food Court lot. Do they sell shrimp? No? You know who does? A certain soldier turned shrimp boater named:
-Lt. Dan (1 squat, 4 lunges> 2 squats, 8 lunges> 3 squats, 12 lunges> 4 squats, 16 lunges) I can’t feel my legs!
Now, mosey over to the parking deck. Let’s knock out some:
-LBC’s x25 IC
Elevators broke… let’s take the stairs. No skipping steps.
We made it to the top but for some reason we still need to climb.
-Mt Climbers x20 IC
I hear something creeping up on us! Quick,
-AYG around the top of the lot to the other mineshaft
Whew! We made it. Let’s celebrate with some
-Plank Jacks x20 IC
Time to mosey. Elevator works but it’s so…far…away. Let’s take the stairs. No skipping steps.
At the bottom. Where is a nice curb? There’s one, in the parking lot across the street. Step up for
-Rocky Balboa’s (alternating toe taps) 30 seconds x2
Done with that but not done with this.
Head over to the Power station. Everybody circle up. Too… much… power, let’s burn it off. But how?
– Alternate between UP/DOWNs and planks. Send a PAX up to the top of the stairs and back down for a timer between the two joyous activities.

At this point, rather than finish up with a fourth round of planks, we went over to the hill by the sidewalk (right off Lake Concord Rd.) and moved a rock back into place.  Apparently a motorist had careened off the road and knocked the rock down the hill recently.

Now back to ASEC for Mary.
– Reverse crunches x20
– In/Outs or YES/No or whatever other interesting name we came up with- 90 secs
-WWII situps x20
Moleskin:
I had two goals, keep us moving and try to sweat in the colder weather. Hopefully, we accomplished them. Nothing makes a workout better than talking football while doing it. In particular, pointing out how terrible El Abogado’s team was this weekend (Watkins will get better… cough, cough).
Welcome back Indy! Great having you post this AM and Tick was happy to have his chauffeur and the Batman to his Robin back with us!
We dispelled the myth that Doolittle doesn’t own a shirt with sleeves as he broke out the full sleeve model to shelter the guns from the cold.
Thanks for letting me lead you on a tour of ASEC. It’s an honor and a pleasure.
